This solution allows the introduction of a system of “flow metres” enabling to determine the number of persons (or vehicles) entering or leaving a specific area. In some settings, it is necessary to monitor a specific area to avoid overcrowding or simply to understand how many people are attracted by a specific “work” present in this area. The WebCounter may be applied to an open gateway or integrated in a mechanical device. The electronic board of the WebCounter system may work as a stand-alone board or on a company network connected to the Internet. The system allows, by means of a dedicated web platform, to view data from the single count units, the data grouped by area, the violation of the set presence limits on real time, and to print and export time graphs of the flows.
